UP AYUSH NEET Admission 2024: Process

BAMS admission in Uttar Pradesh is expected to start in the 2nd week of July 2024, on the basis of the NEET UG Exam 2024. Only NEET UG Exam 2024-qualifying candidates are eligible for admission in Uttar Pradesh. After the NEET UG 2024 result is out, the Uttar Pradesh government will conduct online counseling for admission in the BAMS course for Session 2024. If any person claims direct admission, please inform the counseling authority.

UP NEET Ayush Counseling 2024: Registration

  • Step 1: Candidate, visit the official counseling website: https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Log in using your NEET PG-2024 roll number and application number.
  • Step 3: Candidate will need to deposit a registration fee of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand) online. This payment can only be made through the following link: https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.
  • Step 4: It’s important to note that the registration fee needs to be paid only once, and it covers Candidate’s participation in all rounds of counseling. The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Step 5: If Candidate wishes to participate in a particular counseling round, Candidate must fill in preferences for that specific round.
  • Step 6: If Candidate hasn’t registered in previous rounds, it will be mandatory for Candidate to pay the prescribed registration fee to participate in the advanced round of counseling.

UP NEET Ayush Counseling 2024: Process

Step 1: Online Registration and Payment of Registration Fee

  • It’s mandatory for candidates to register online on the official website: https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.
  • Log in using your NEET PG-2024 roll number and application number.
  • Follow on-screen instructions for registration.
  • Pay a one-time registration fee of Rs. 2,000 online at https://upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in. Note: This fee covers all counseling rounds and is non-refundable.
  • Fill preferences if you wish to participate in specific counseling rounds.

Step 2: Security Money and Payment Process

  • For government Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathy colleges, deposit Rs. 20,000 as security money. For private sector colleges, it’s Rs. 50,000.
  • If applying to both government and private sector, deposit Rs. 50,000.
  • Deposit earnest money during registration.
  • Earnest money details:
    • Government Colleges: Rs. 20,000
    • Private Colleges: Rs. 50,000
    • For All India Quota/85% State Quota Seats: Rs. 50,000
  • Choice filling is allowed only after earnest money payment.

Step 3: Online Document Verification

  • Verification of academic records is done online.
  • Upload the following documents:
    • High School or equivalent exam certificate and admit card.
    • Intermediate or equivalent exam mark sheet and admit card.
    • NEET UG-2024 score Card.
    • Reservation-related certificates (if applicable).
    • Domicile Certificate (if required).
    • Aadhaar authentication (or other photo ID if Aadhaar not available).

Step 4: Physical Verification of Documents

  • Documents are physically verified at the counseling venue and during college admission.
  • Present original and self-attested photocopies of documents including NEET UG-2024 Admit Card and Score Card.
  • Verification of domicile, reservation, and other relevant certificates.

Step 5: Counseling and Admission Process (Seat Allotment)

  • Counseling takes place in multiple rounds.
  • Upgradation of seats available based on preference and availability.
  • No objection certificate needed for counseling related to an already admitted college.
  • Reserved category seats not filled may be converted to other categories.
  • Ineligible candidates or those who resign after the prescribed period are not eligible for further counseling.

Step 6: Stray Vacancy Round

  • For candidates who haven’t been allotted seats in earlier rounds.
  • Register in the Stray Vacancy round.
  • Be present at the nodal center for physical document verification

UP NEET Ayush Counseling 2024: Document Required 

  • NEET UG-2024 Admit Card and Score Card.
  • High school or equivalent marksheet, certificate, and admit card.
  • Intermediate or equivalent marksheet, certificate, and admit card.
  • Original residence certificate as per the prescribed format by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
  • Reservation-related certificates as per the prescribed format by competent authorities.
  • For 15% All India quota seats in private sector, relevant certificates issued by respective state authorities.
  • OBC and EWS certificates issued soon.
  • One passport-sized photograph used for NEET UG 2024.
  • Identity card (e.g., Driving License, Bank Passbook with photograph, PAN Card, Passport, or college-issued identity card).
